Cape Verde, an archipelago in the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of West Africa, has been receiving the attention it has long deserved since participating in this year’s World Cup. Cape Verde is rich in culture, shaped by African, Portuguese, and Caribbean influences. For two days, this diversity will be brought to life for visitors to see and experience.

Readings, dance and cooking workshops, and a “Living Library” await visitors at the two “Noite Caboverdiana” (“Cape Verdean Night”) events. Spend two days immersing yourself in the culture, including concerts and DJ sets that go late into the night. Because this, too, is an integral part of the Cape Verdean way of life.
