Admission
We recommend purchasing advance tickets exclusively through our Ticket Shop. Otherwise, you risk being turned away at the door because your tickets are either a) no longer valid or b) were copied multiple times before sale. You can now also find an option for reselling tickets in our Ticket Shop if you’re no longer able to attend the concert. Simply select the desired event and follow the instructions.
To enter, you’ll need a ticket with a QR code—whether digital (e.g., on your phone) or printed. To avoid wait times, download your tickets from the confirmation email in advance.
Valid identification is required at the Kuppel Basel. Please bring the original copy of a valid, official ID (ID card, passport, driver’s license). Digitally stored IDs, as well as SBB season tickets and similar documents, are not valid.
The box office opens when the doors open (see event information), provided the event in question has not already sold out in advance.
Discounts and Reductions:
-
If you purchased your ticket in advance at a reduced price, you must present your student ID, school ID, IV card, or AHV card at the box office.
-
If you have a Kulturlegi, you’ll receive a 50% discount on tickets at the box office (only available if the event isn’t sold out).
Age Restrictions:
-
As a general rule, our concerts are open to those 16 and older. Those under 16 may attend only if accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, who must be present for the entire duration of the event.
-
Parties are generally open to those 18 and older (no exceptions for accompanied minors).
Accessibility:
All event spaces at Kuppel Basel are accessible without steps. Caregivers are admitted free of charge.

Have you lost something? Did you accidentally take something that doesn’t belong to you? Please send us an email at info [at] kuppel-basel.ch with the date of the loss and a detailed description of the item.
We generally hold onto lost items for four weeks. After this period, we take valuables such as wallets or keys to the lost and found office and donate usable clothing.
