D.Hazelnut, ppVoltron, Don Ranking, Slim Jim Fresh, or The Haze? This ever-busy DJ has been around for what feels like since the Big Bang and has shaped Basel’s music and nightlife culture. He’s been connected to the Kuppel from the very beginning to the very end: whether through the Mama Africa nights his father established, or as a DJ, where he gained his first experience under the Kuppel’s roof and later also helped shape the program.

Flavah Nice, known as a DJ and dance instructor, who - during the Kuppel’s golden era - literally moved the after-hours sessions of her dance classes to the Kuppel and celebrated the classic Thursdays there with the Soulsugar DJ Crew, among others.
